Through Tourism eXchange GB, Caterbook is able to extend your distribution beyond booking.com and Expedia.
Additional OTA's include Agoda, CTrip, Tripadvisor and Trivago, but also many regional and local Destination Management Organisations (eg Visit Devon, Cumbria Tourism, Visit Cambridge) are connected, who are able to offer real-time booking at a lower cost than the OTA's.

Unilke our own channel connections, where Caterbook will push changes to pricing and availability in real-time, TXGB pulls data from Caterbook. Your individual connections to OTA's and DMO's are then mapped within TXGB.
So, firstly, mapping to booking and Expedia has rooms and rates at both "sides" of the connection, but when mapping to TXGB we only map rooms / rates from Caterbook.
Points to note:
- TXGB have recommended that we only send ONE rateplan per room type, and that any additional rateplan's pricing be derived at the OTA.
- Additionally, where connections to booking & Expedia can handle multiple minimum stay values within a rateplan (Friday 1 night MinLOS, Saturday 2 night MinLOS) we are requried to map a single Minimum Length of Stay value (ie 1 Night, or 2 Nights) for each room type.
Reservations are imported into Caterbook and placed on the Calendar in the usual way.
When you are ready to connect to additional distribution partners through TXGB, please let us know by raising a ticket, and we will arrange for a member of their team to contact you. In the ticket, please advise which Rateplan, MinLOS and Room types you wish to be made availble to TXGB.
