The Pace report compares a forward booking snapshot on the 1st of the current month, for the next 12 months, against the same snapshot data from 1 year and 2 years ago.
Like the Sales report, there are 2 tabs which provide a Summary and Itemised view of the data, which can be exported as a .csv file or PDF report from the top left-hand corner.
The top graph on the Summary view presents the forward booking data as an occupancy percentage change against the previous 2 years. In the example below the occupancy of forward bookings from the 1st - 30th September 2023 is 33.49% higher than 2022 and 47.84% higher than 2021. Where there is no data, for example where a property is closed, a figure of zero will be applied.
The bottom graph displays the same data in terms of revenue change. In the example below, we can see that forward bookings are up by £112801.50 compared to September 2022 and by £148136 compared to September 2021. However for November, the forward booking value is down by £1597 compared to November 2021.
The Itemised view of the Pace report, provides the figures for the number of forward bookings for each month for the current and last 2 years. It displays the data in the form of Booking Count, Occupancy Percentage, Total revenue and Average Daily Rate (ADR).
