Background.
Rather than checking the guest in, this is a way of collecting all the information you require about each guest ahead of their arrival. This information is used to populate the printable Guest Registration Forms, reducing the time required by the guests in reception to complete these.
Allowing the guest to populate the information later reduces the length of time it takes the guest to complete a booking, either over the phone or on your website.
Setup.
From Settings / Property / Registration form you can configure the fields you want to capture for all guests. Here, you can also add some additional text that will appear in the footer of the printed registration form.
Then, from Messaging centre / Templates, either in the booking confirmation email, or a separate email scheduled to go out 1 or 2 days prior to arrival you can add a link to the Express Check In form.
What the guest sees.
When the email is received by the guest, they can click through to complete any information for each room in the booking.
Clicking the link takes the guest to the following screen:
On completing the form, this will then populate the fields in the printed registration cards
