You can create different cancellation policies for each rateplan in Caterbook.
A policy consists of a name, a penalty type and a penalty period.
If a reservation is cancelled within the penalty period, Caterbook will suggest to you via the dashboard that the relevant penalty can be applied for that booking.
There are 5 cancellation penalty types:
- Full Booking Value
- First Night
- Deposit Value
- Percentage of Booking Value
- Fixed Cancellation Fee
The first 3 of those have the value implied by their name.
For percentage and fixed fee, a new field appears allowing you to enter a value
