Deposit, Payment and Cancellation policies are created independently in Caterbook.
The applicable deposit will be taken for any website bookings and suggested for any reservations being manually entered into Caterbook. Where a cancellation occurs within the set period, you will see a warning on the dashboard that a penalty can be charged.
Once created, you can then mix and match your policies and apply them to your different Rateplans.
An Advance Purchase Rateplan might require payment in full, at the time of booking and be non refundable.
Room Only might require the Card for Security, with Payment on Departure, and have a cancellation penalty of the 1st night's stay if cancelled within 2 days of arrival.
Your Standard Rateplan might use the same deposit and payment policies as Room Only, but require payment in full if cancelled within 2 days of arrival.
