If your existing PMS is able to export a .csv file with your existing bookings in it, then usually we can import this into Caterbook and save hours of time manually entering the bookings.
You're likely to be working with Booking.com, Expedia and other OTA's. Many PMS will also export the OTA's own booking reference in the file, which means when a booking that was made prior to migrating to Caterbook is modified or cancelled, we can update the booking in Caterbook.
If your PMS export file doesn't export Booking.com's booking references (for Example "Welcome"), then it makes sense to spend some time adding these in a new column in the .csv file, as it will make things much easier once you migrate.
Log in to your Booking.com account.
From the Reservations tab, leave Date of as "Check-in" then;
- From Today's date, To 2 years time
- Click More filters
- Under Reservation status, tick OK
- Click Show
- Then Download / Download reservations statement.
You should then be able to copy and paste the Booking.com reservation ID's into the corresponding booking rows of your PMS export file.
