If you have previously tokenised or stored payment cards they will be "lost" when moving from an old system to Caterbook 5.
However, most OTA's do retain and allow the viewing of Cards in their extranet that have previously been sent via XML. So there is no need to re-tokenise or verify these, they remain there for your security in the event of a no show.
Here's what we have been told;
Booking.com:
Each guest's credit card details can only be viewed 3 times, for up to 10 days after the check-out date in the extranet. If the booking is cancelled, credit card details are available for up to 10 days after the cancellation date. For security reasons the CVC code can only be shown once (the first time the partner views the credit card details).
More info here.
Expedia:
The card details will be available in Partner Central, regardless if there are vendor changes or vendor disconnection.
For other cards sourced via your website or manually inputted, it is possible to send a card verification link from Caterpay to re-request the card details. Whilst this is slightly long winded, it is one way to collect the cards from your guests.
