You can set rooms to Enquiry only on the Availability screen, from the Inventory menu.
Click on the date (or start date) you wish to apply the closure to.
You can now select your required Date from and Date to period by clicking the calendar icon to pick the dates. You can select a specific Room Type or select the All option to apply the restriction to all room types. Select the Enquiry only option from the Status drop-down and click the Update button to apply the restriction.
The availability grid will reflect the restriction through a colour coded key (purple - Enquiry only)
If a backend booking is entered where an Enquiry only restriction is in place, a warning will be displayed, however, this can be overridden, by clicking Yes to complete the booking.
Where a guest selects dates where an Enquiry only restriction is in place, they will be able to book the rooms, subject to the property confirming the booking.
Enquiry only bookings will automatically land in the Calendar and will be colour coded in brown.
Enquiry bookings can be Confirmed or Cancelled from within the booking record.
