You can close off rooms to Arrival or Departure from the Availability screen from the Inventory menu.
Click on the date (or start date) you wish to apply the closure to.
You can now select your required Date from and Date to period by clicking the calendar icon to pick the dates. In most cases, a Closed to arrival/departure will apply to all room types and this can be selected from the Room Type drop-down. Select the required option from the Status drop-down and click the Update button to apply the restriction.
The availability grid will reflect the restriction through a colour coded key (pink - Closed to arrival & blue - Closed to departure).
If a backend booking is entered where a Closed to arrival/departure restriction is in place, a warning will be displayed, however, this can be overridden, by clicking Yes to complete the booking.
If a guest attempts to book online where a Closed to arrival/departure restriction is in place for the start/end date, no availability will be displayed.
However if they select dates which span the Closed to arrival/departure restriction, they will see availability.
